Jeremy Piven on Facebook, who is best known for his role as Ari Gold on Entourage, is a two-time Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee. He has also appeared in several other popular films such as Grosse Pointe Blank, One Crazy Summer, Say Anything and Serendipity. He grew up in a typical middle-class family and his parents established the Piven Theatre Workshop where he trained to become an actor.

When allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein surfaced in 2017, it sparked a massive shift in reporting on sexual misconduct in the entertainment industry. The scandal led to more than 100 women coming forward with accusations against prominent men in the business, including Piven. Meador says she received a lot of negative feedback after she spoke up about her experience with Piven, but she still feels glad she shared her story.

She says she believes that accountability should go beyond Piven and include studios, production companies and management. She adds that she thinks he needs to take more responsibility for his actions and apologize.

He hosts the show titled “How U Livin’, J Piven?” and interviews influential people in an intimate format that showcases his quick wit. The show is available on all streaming platforms. He is also working on a new project where he plays Joel Lapchick, the man who helped Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton break the color barrier in basketball in 1950.…
